Architectural accessibility:

  • The exhibition „Józef Chełmoński 1849-1914” is accessible for persons with reduced mobility. Access via two lifts to the second part of the exhibition, located on the mezzanine in the museum’s old building, is provided by the staff.
  • Lectures in the Spanish Hall (Sala Hiszpańska) – access via lift to the third floor, then via step lift. Help is provided by the museum staff.

We have prepared:

  • 10 audio descriptions available under QR codes;
  • a tactile version of the painting „Autumn” („Jesień”);
  • an educational corner – on the exhibition’s first floor, in a small, dedicated space, you can sit down to take a little rest and read the available publications. When no workshops are being held, you can also use the educational room next to the benches, play with your child with the provided toys, or do some creative work;
  • an audio guide for individual visitors – a self-guided tour path of the exhibition available in free audio guides or in an app that can be downloaded to one’s own phone (headphones are then required, and they can be purchased at the museum store);
  • a pre-guide to the exhibition;
  • two tours in Polish Sign Language (dates to be announced soon);
  • a tranquil room named „The Calmery” („Spokojnia”), located close to the cafeteria by the museum’s entrance;
  • quiet hours every first Sunday of the month from 15:00 to 17:00.
