[:en]The inspiration for this series is the presence in the collections of the National Museum in Poznań that are important for women's art history of paintings: "Chess Games" by Sofonisba Anguissoli, portraits of Olga Boznańska, paintings by Maria Nicz-Borowiakowa, Maria Jarema, Ewa Kuryluk, and Izabela Gustowska. They are a kind of research commitment, based on the recognition of gender as an important element of the construction of their works, emphasizing the importance of this kind of identity. The analysis of these exemplary works changes the look at art in general. Admitting the feminist art history to the fore will create a new platform for artistic discussion.[:]
