Since 1992, the Frame and Gilding Conservation Studio has operated as an independent studio. Gilders – gilders – carry out numerous works related to the conservation of antique frames and other works of applied art: furniture, chandeliers, picture frames, elements of musical instrument housings, relying on the knowledge of old technologies and skills in the field of gilding practice. A separate type of tasks is the design and execution of new frames for both historical and contemporary paintings and graphics.
